| Battle for the Temple |
| I started
playing chess when I was 9 or 10 years old, and play sporadically.
The symbolism of chess, the two armies facing off, has always interested
me, as well as the architectural aspect of chess men. This painting
works with these ideas while continuing the themes of trees and temples. |
