| This is my friend Michelle Anderson. The painting started with the idea of doing a painting of her back, with her wonderful tattoos. Then I thouight that it would be interesting if she was actually doing something, and this being Boulder, climbing seemed like a natural thing. I asked her to wear bright pants, and love the red ones she choose. I also am quite pleased with the composition of the piece, with her body and the shadow stretching from corner to corner diagonally. |
