| Late Morning Nap |
| My interest in painting people continues to grow. This is the first piece I've ever done where the person predominates and everything else has become peripheral. I like how this guy looked so totally comfortable, sitting in the sun napping on a bench on the Pearl St. Mall. I've also become fascinated with how cloth hangs and drapes over a body, the whole play of light and shadow. |
