The Light |
There is a funny story behind this piece. I went to a "modeling" session here in Boulder. A model is paid to sit for a 3 hour period while people paint or draw her/him, or like me take photos that might later turn into paintings. I took 20 or so photos of the model, from various angles. Kept trying to find views where this light, which was arranged to shine on the model, didn't intrude. Kept looking at the light, and became fascinated with how it shone on the wall and at the same time the ambient light in the room shone on the lamp. What can I say? I found the light more interesting then the model. |
