My work has broadened again. When I go out to take the photographs for these paintings I'm looking now for things that just strike me as odd, unusual, not what you'd expect. I check out alleys and places that are unkempt. More and more I look for the beauty that can be found in places and things that you'd normally think were ugly or that you would simply ignore as you passed them by. There is beauty everywhere. You just have to look more closely. Near the end of this time, deep into pandemic I painted a number of Buddhas as a way to stay connectd to what is important I think.
